There is direct admission to all Programmes except MBA, DIM, PGDIM, PGDFM,PGDHRM,PGDOM , PGDMM and B.ED

Admission to MBA, DIM, PGDIM, PGDFM,PGDHRM,PGDOM and PGDMM programmes is through Entrance Test (OPENMAT) which is held twice in a year during FEBRUARY and AUGUST.

Admission to B.ED programme is through Entrance Test which is held once in a year during AUGUST.

Applicants should collect 'Student Handbook & Prospectus' either from Regional Centre or from any Study Centre or from the Registrar, SRD, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110 068. Student Handbook & Prospectus contains application form. The filled-in application form along with attested copies of testimonials (Marksheet, Certificate , Caste Certificate, Experience Certificate etc.) and Demand Draft ( towards Programme Fee) should be sent to the Regional Centre OR Registrar (SRD) [as mentioned in the Advertisement].

For admission to 62 programmes as listed under "Academic Programmes", application form along with attested copies of Testimonials and Demand Draft (DD) should be sent to this RC. Demand Draft should be made in favour of IGNOU and payable at SILIGURI.

However, after clearing the OPENMAT, application form for admission to MBA / DIM / PGDIM etc. should be sent to RC.
