CHANGE OF REGIONAL CENTRE FROM SILIGURI TO OTHER REGIONAL CENTRE

 

   

  1. Programmes without Practical Compoment like BA, BCOM, MEG, MHD etc :

 

 In case a learner wants to change his / her Region from Siliguri to any other Regional Centre, he / she should write an application mentioning his / her name, enrolment no., programme, new address, existing Study Centre Code, new Study Centre Code, name and Code of the new Regional Centre where he/she is willing to be shifted. The application should be addressed to the Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre, Siliguri.

 

Normally, it takes 3 to 4 weeks to effect the change. The learner will be informed about the change from the Regional Centre.

 

  1. Programmes with Practical Compoment like BCA, MCA etc :

 

Learners have to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Regional Centre where he / she is willing to be shifted. Along with the NOC, the learner should write an application mentioning his / her name, enrolment no., programme, new address, existing Study Centre Code, new Study Centre Code, name and Code of the new Regional Centre where he/she is willing to be shifted. The application should be addressed to the Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre, Siliguri.

 

Normally, it takes 3 to 4 weeks to effect the change. The learner will be informed about the change from the Regional Centre.

Text Box: In case any learner is keen for transfer from Army / Navy / Air force Regional Centre to the Regional Centre,Siliguri during the cycle / session, he / she would have to pay the fee-share money to the Regional Centre. In case, the learner seeks transfer at the beginning of the session / cycle, the required programme / course fee for the session/cycle shall be deposited at the Regional Centre. However, the transfer shall be subject to availability of seats wherever applicable.
